The 1st string repeats the F# of the 6th. This pattern leaves it out. All 6 arpeggios
Alternating picking with steady pulse.
F#m is built from F#, A and C#. F# is the root, A the minor third and C# the fifth. Said aloud, its notes are F sharp, A and C sharp.
String by string, low to high, it plays F#, C#, F#, A, C# and F#. F# rings three times across the six strings, and it is the root. The lowest and highest notes are both F#, two octaves apart, on strings 6 and 1.
The main F#m shape needs a barre at fret 2 across six strings. Your hand covers three frets, from 2 to 4. This page has three positions. The others start at frets 4 and 9.
Change only string 3 in F#m and you have F#. F#m and A have A and C# in common. Bm shares two positions with this shape. Gbm is the same chord under another name.
F#m shows up in five keys. In A major it is the vi, in E major the ii and in D major the iii. The rest appear in the key list.

When strumming or fingerpicking, strike this string first.
